This 17 inch carpet scrubbing brush is made out of nylon, and is great for scrubbing those heavily soiled traffic lane areas. Carpeted areas with the most foot traffic, obviously will collect the most dirt and debris, therefore attracting most of your cleaning attention. The 2 styles of bristles will scrub the carpet and flex the pile while the softer inner rows "massage" the dirt from the carpet for a deeper cleaning action. The glide in the center of the brush is what helps to protect your carpet. It will not allow the bristles from the brush to dig too deeply into the carpet, which can rip, or tear out your carpet fibers. This brush really is fool-proof!!
